Dialogue stays audible
Quiet passages are raised in a controlled way without unnecessarily colouring the sound.
AudioBalance automatically keeps the volume across your entire Windows PC consistent. Custom-trained AI detects whether you are watching film, gaming, listening to music or speech, and adjusts accordingly.

01
The result
Quiet passages are raised in a controlled way without unnecessarily colouring the sound.
Ads, action scenes and sudden level jumps are controlled before you have to reach for the volume.
Browsers, streaming, games and music pass through the same automatic control.
02
Custom-trained AI
At the heart of AudioBalance are custom AI models, built and trained specifically for this task. They run entirely locally on your PC.
The AI detects what is playing, and the regulation adapts to the content: dialogue is treated differently from action or music.
No off-the-shelf general AI: the models were built and trained specifically for volume regulation.
All models run directly on your PC. No cloud upload, and the AI works without an internet connection.

Set it up once
AudioBalance works between Windows audio and your playback device. You choose the level you want, and the app handles the rest.
The AudioBalance module handles the default output, so you do not have to configure supported applications one by one.
Loudness is measured locally. Custom-trained AI models detect whether you are playing music, gaming, speech or film, and quiet and loud sections are brought closer together with smooth, bounded control.
AudioBalance automatically selects a suitable physical output. If several devices are connected, you can choose the one you want.
04
Output
AudioBalance works with active Windows playback devices. Availability and profiles depend on the device driver.
05
The technology, if you want the details
The interface stays deliberately compact. Underneath it is a local real-time audio chain for measurement, level control, limiting and device output.

FAQ
AudioBalance processes audio that uses the Windows default output. That covers browsers, streaming apps, games and music. Voice chat such as Discord deliberately bypasses AudioBalance, and so do applications using exclusive audio mode or a fixed output device.
For AudioBalance to process sound system-wide, Windows audio first has to pass through a virtual input and output. For Auto Level the app guides you through installing VB-CABLE, donationware by VB-Audio (www.vb-cable.com).
Yes. Automatic mode follows a suitable physical output. If several speakers, headphones or docks are connected, you can select one explicitly.
Yes. The open beta is free and does not require activation. As a thank you, beta users get 50% off their first one‑time purchase of the full version. We will announce the transition in advance in the app and on this page.

Yes. AudioBalance uses custom-trained AI models that run entirely locally on your PC. For example, they detect whether you are playing music, gaming, speech or film so the regulation matches the content. No data is sent to any cloud for this.
No. Audio content is processed locally and is not uploaded. Anonymous usage statistics are transmitted only with your explicit consent.
The Microsoft Store is the easiest way to install AudioBalance. The signed direct installer remains available as an alternative. Both install the same AudioBalance application; the audio module is set up separately when required.
Yes: TranscriptBalance. It transcribes lectures, seminars and meetings live in your browser, and if you like, an AI answers your questions about them. It also turns audio and video files into text. Free, nothing to install, no subscription.
